Honeoye Falls - Mendon Youth Baseball

Honeoye Falls Mendon Youth Baseball has several leagues available for kids from age 4 through 18. They are briefly described as follows.  Select from the leagues on the left for more details.

Drills & Skills - This league is for players ages 3 and 4 who want to have fun and learn some of the most basic skills of baseball.  The league meets during May and June on Saturdays.

T-Ball - This league is for players ages 5 and 6. Players have the opportunity to hit off a tee, run the bases, and field the ball.  This is an introductory league that teaches basic baseball skills while the kids have fun.  Outs are not recorded - each player hits every inning.

Intermediate - This league is for players ages 7 and 8.  Players hit a RIF ball from a machine.  The players in the field will play the ball to record an out.  At the intermediate level; there is an opportunity to play on a summer travel team as well.

Minor - Minor league takes baseball to the next level with the use of a regulation ball, walks, and limited base stealing.  This league is for players age 9 and 10.  With this league, there is an opportunity to play summer travel baseball as well as August and fall ball.

Major - This league is for players age 11 and 12.  The season is played primarily using little league rules.  There is the opportunity to play on a couple of competitve travel teams including the Mendon Storm which plays in a week long tournament in Cooperstown, NY

13-18 HFMYB Teams - There are teams available for 13/14 year old players (Juniors), 15/16 (Seniors), and 17/18 (Big League).  The older age in each bracket may "play up" in the next older league if desired.  These teams are Little League affiliated and home games are played on our 90 foot diamond, Moffitt Field.

MCBR Teams - HFMYB sponsors two MCBR teams (13U and 15U) which play in the Monroe County Babe Ruth league.  Games run from mid-May through mid-July with most of the games played in June and July.  Home games are played on our 90 foot diamond, Moffitt Field.

August Ball- Offered at both the U10 and U12 level. August ball is an opportunity for HFM players to enjoy some more baseball in August. This is a travel league that typically plays 2 games a week for the month of August.

Fall Ball- Offered at both the U10 and U12 level. Fall ball is a house league, with all games played at the HFM complex. Games are Saturdays at 1PM starting the first Saturday after Labor Day and continuing as weather permits. Sand lot day and wood bat day are just some of the fun planned !
